We are pleased to welcome Peter Coughlin, to our team as our Business Development Manager.
Peter, who lives in South Wales, will be working to expand the reach of Security Group, across the South-West of England. Security Group offers advanced CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and monitoring solutions to the commercial, public sector, charitable and educational sectors. Our existing customers include businesses and homeowners.
Peter has experience across a range of industries
Peter has worked across a number of industries including Fire and Security; IP networks; Telecommunications and most recently in Construction. He has worked with professionals from the beginning of a construction project, writing specifications for architects, smoothing the process through to contractors and project delivery.
In a message to all prospective clients Peter said: “I will focus on providing you with solutions that are right for your organisation, taking you through the process from inception to commissioning stage, providing a single point of contact throughout.”
Offering maintenance and support to clients
Peter will also be showing prospective customers our competitive ongoing maintenance and support packages which provide superior after care which ensures that customers are aware of improvements in technology over time to improve their security systems. We can also offer CCTV customers access to CCTV Logbook which means they can manage their CCTV assets and compliance more easily including scheduling reviews and maintenance checks so you keep on top of your security with ease.
Leading business development at Security Group and Ecl-ips
Security Group was bought in 2020 by Worcestershire-based company, Ecl-ips, and Peter will also be leading business development at Ecl-ips across the rest of the UK.

Outside of work Peter said he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf (getting away from his family!), 5 a side football (but only as his body is too old to play rugby anymore) and doing his bit for charity, ranging from holding a golf day to organising a raffle for his golf society and being part of the occasional world record attempt.
