Sounds Commercial is one of the UK’s market leading event production companies and it also provides an award-winning nationwide audio-visual equipment hire service. We upgraded their intruder alarm system in 2021 installing a grade 3 Orisec solution. This wireless intruder alarm system uses dual path technology to provide a connection to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) so a police response can be provided if an alarm is triggered.

Since the installation we have continued to provide support and maintenance to the Bristol-based business. The call came after a personal attack alarm was accidently triggered and they were unable to reset their alarm. The police were with them in minutes and he had to liaise with them before contacting Security Group.
At first, he reached out to David Harris, who was on annual leave, but who passed on the number of the call out engineer, who that night was Stephen Gilbert. Keiran said: “It was such a relief that upon my first attempt to reach out to said engineer, my call was answered immediately! In a very calm manner, I was instructed by Steve who was on call that evening on how to re-set the alarm from a manager reset. I was delighted that within 30 minutes I was heading back home with our premises fully alarmed and insured.”
In his review Keiran also thanked our business operations manager, Angela Price, “who is always in the background ensuring we always have the support we need when required.”
Steve was on hand again when on a separate evening Sounds Commercial suffered a power cut. Sarah Ross, Managing Director, said: “Steve, the engineer, on call was so, so helpful and professional and worked with us until 2am to resolve the matter. Steve was patient and could not have been more helpful.”
