If you are struggling to find footage, or cannot easily track people who maybe causing trouble on your premises, advanced video recording and analytics can make all the difference. If you are based in Bristol, Bath or elsewhere in the south-west of England we can offer you the latest edge solution from Avigilon, the ENVR2 Plus.
This appliance means we can now offer a cost-effective option which means you can benefit from the full range of advanced analytics provided by the Avigilon Control Center (ACC7) software. With the ENVR2 Plus you can have these advanced features whether you have analytical cameras or not, and whether you are on site or not.
Video analytics: Making surveillance simpler
Avigilon have been improving the capabilities of all its cameras, including the latest H5A camera range which comes embedded with analytics features. We appreciate that CCTV upgrades are expensive but with the ENVR2 Plus, whether you have older Avigilon cameras, or other brands of cameras you do not have to miss out on the analytics features of ACC7. Additionally, we can offer Avigilon encoders which will extend the life of analogue cameras so you can have all your security footage on one digital platform.
Appearance Search: This gives you the ability to quickly locate a specific person or vehicle of interest across an entire site within your video recording. You can initiate a search for a person by selecting certain specific physical descriptions, including clothing colour and gender, to find a person of interest.
So, if you spot a person with green top and black trousers acting suspiciously on your property instead of searching through hours of footage you need only to search on these key features and you will soon find where and when they appear.
When time is of the essence, this means you can quickly respond to an incident sending in security or other staff to deal with the person in question if appropriate.
Facial Recognition: If you have ACC 7.4 or a higher version of the software its facial recognition technology allows you to create multiple watch lists and you can upload photographs to add an individual to a watch list. Avigilon have also added watch list profiles that can be created using an uploaded image in addition to a snapshot from recorded video or an Avigilon Appearance Search result. Up to 500 names can be added to each appearance watch list which means even on the biggest of sites security can be managed more pro-actively. The software will support up to 5000 profiles as a combined total across all watch lists.
Classified Object Detection (COD): This is the ability to classify more than 50 objects within . The analytics capability means it can pick out people as well as types of vehicles including cars, lorries, buses, motorcycles and bicycles. COD enhances the power of appearance search even further.
License Plate Recognition: Avigilon LPR analytics automatically reads number plate information from vehicles and provides notifications for both your live feed and the video recording. This enables security operators to search and quickly find specific captured licence plate video for verification and investigation. Within ACC7 number plates detected and matched against an LPR Watch List are now shown as events in Focus of Attention for easier review.
Avigilon Cloud Services provides for remote monitoring capability
Additionally, you are able to connect your CCTV system to Avigilon Cloud Services so that you can manage your security remotely which means it is an ideal solution for medium to large businesses that may operate across a number of sites. You only need to buy licences for the numbers of cameras you actually have. You can connect up to eight cameras to each appliance.
For added convenience, the ACC Mobile 3 Preview app delivers self-monitoring mobile video surveillance features and direct mobile access to all ES appliances. The app is available for download from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
Security Group offers the full NVR range from Avigilon
We are a well-established Avigilon partner and offer its full range of NVRs including the AI NVR, which was launched last year, all versions of Avigilon’s fourth-generation NVRs and now the two ES NVR options, ENVR1 and the ENVR2 Plus.
